Default TPW date to build date?

I had posted a different post regarding delivery date and courtesy delivery but just modifying a bit. I received a TPW date of 8/18 (moved up a week). What can be the expected approx build date range?
Thanks

So then the car should be built that week and then received via courtesy delivery approx early September?

When did you receive the car after it came off the line? Did you receive it at the dealer you ordered it from or via courtesy delivery?

TPW is generally accurate, delivery times are another story and dependent on several factors. It's anyones guess when delivery will be.

Another thing that may delay delivery is the normal 2 week quality hold. Last year it was more like a 6 week hold.... but that was the not normal.

I'm in the same boat.. 8-11 tpw and hoping to take the new one to the Corvette Caravan at the end of August.

I'm not so sure about quality holds. My car came off the line 5/27 and I picked it up at my dealer 5/31 so...

My car was in the first batch of convertibles off the line. They were on a quality control hold for a minute. I picked her up at the museum on 12/11/13.

Chevrolet normally holds the first few weeks of initial model year production for quality checks and as the weeks of production goes by will randomly hold for quality checks. Toward the end of the model year many few random quality holds occur.

So the random checks start out at 100% and gradually go down to say 20% or fewer.

Our TPW was 5/8, and the car was born on 5/9. As stated, could be any time during that week. In the middle of the MY, it could even be built prior to TPW as it is just an estimate.
