Default Will Supplier pricing go up $1000 for all 2015s even those who ordered before Aug. 4?

My dealer has said that they accept all GM discounts, programs, etc. that are available at the time of delivery. It is my understanding that Employee and Supplier pricing is a set amount. Since this pricing has yet to be released, we are all speculating as to what that price will be. If someone ordered a 2015 before the Aug 4th price increase, they will have a lower MSRP on the car but the if the supplier price comes out and takes into account the increase, would those who have had their cars ordered and accepted prior to Aug 4th still have to pay the set supplier pricing with the increase?

I was told yes, since supplier pricing hasn't been released it can't be price protected. On another thread people are saying it is protected.

All the 2015's will have the NEW MSRP, $1000 more. The dealer will just charge you about $920 less or so.

Curious to know the real answer.

If that is true then it would be great but it is speculation at this point, I hope Dave is correct but I dont look at that as anything official from GM.

I'm just waiting until supplier pricing shows up on the site so there aren't any surprises when I order.

This is not rocket science. If your car was at least 1100 prior to Aug4th when the price was announced you get the old price. If still at 1000 on Aug August 4th you get the new price which will increase by $1000 MSRP and will be slightly less than $1000 for supplier discounts. Makes no difference what your dealer says unless he's looking at the event codes for your car.

Mine too. But some people won't believe it until they see it in writing. I asked my dealer today where the general public could view it and he was not completly sure. However, as a dealership they have received work from GM that GMS and Supplier pricing is in effect for the 2015's. This is the last time I am posting since it seems many refuse to believe. I just know life got better for me.

My dealer ordered it as a "Stock" Unit. Making me second guess buying a 15' as a temporary car. I might just jump ship and wait until the 15's hit the lot and get a 14 at invoice -3%

I just hung up the phone with a nice young lady (Carrie) at the GM call center. She confirmed to me the current formula for calculating supplier pricing is still the same as it was for the 2014 model year. That is INVOICE + $200 program fee + the standard destination fee ($995).

She said stay in touch with your dealer.. When they have invoice pricing they can calculate what supplier should be for you.

Of course that could all change at anytime but that's what it is today.
