70 pct of the c7’s I've seen need clay, they get dirty getting to you....but a better, easier alternative to clay:

Every car new or old can be clay bared. Just run you hand over the finish. Your fingers will feel all the imbedded junk in your paint that your eyes never see.
Clay bar just your hood and then compare it to the rest of the car. I bet you end up doing the whole thing. Be sure to use the clay bar with something like Meguire's Show Time detailing spray and apply wax after the clay.
You can do this once or twice a year depending on whether you car is left outside all the time or in a garage.

When your car is painted, as the solvents dry the paint surface acquires a liquid like look that is unique. That look is destroyed when even a cleaner wax is applied. I personally chose to preserve this as long as possible. I there for only use a quick detailer product to enhance the shine. I never did the plastic bag test, my thinking; if you can't see contamination, it is not present.
Your car does look good!

sorry, Larry, again not true...you keep trying to sell this, but it's just clear coat paint - not some special stuff and it gets dirty....
you saidthis, and it is totally wrong:

Larry I bet you would be surprised if you took a picture of your car now and then again after clay bar, polish and then seal, using the proper techniques. I'm sure your car is beautiful, but imagine it even more beautiful!

Larry, It's low VOC paint, whatever solvents that were there were swept up into the air cleaning system at the factory. The paint is not out gassing, it's completely dry and cured, it was before it even reached you. Of course now, using nothing but quick detailer, you have probably done a nice job if micro scratching (halo effect) the surface.
Believe what you want but a good clean, polish and seal/wax will make your car look better, plain and simple.
