I have no idea why everyone doesn't sign up for this. For $10 membership fee, you sign up online and saves you thousands off the car. You don't have to wait for an end of year clearance sale. Just buy from a dealer that accepts it.

Yes, cash is king but when you arrange your own financing the dealer only sees cash in the form of a certified check. Many times I have hand carried the check into the dealer's show room with their name on it ready to give them when we sign the final paperwork.

Well, my credit union wasn't on the list, but I registered with a credit union that already offered me guaranteed membership... according to the site, the Corvette is not currently eligible for any cash allowance whatsoever in the Western or North Central regions

The credit union (supplier) pricing on my personal choice of options came to $58,415, a nice savings over the $64,075 MSRP for sure

That is my understanding as well. Thought in fact they get an even higher commission if you do not have great credit and they can steer you to one of the higher interest lenders they work with!

Anyone paying MSRP or even with a couple of grand off is paying too much. Those that do must have more money than they can use.

Went to the website, "mygmdiscount.com and looked for eligible credit unions and could find no list. Under, "frequently asked questions," there was no question listed that asked for eligible credit unions. Are there specific credit unions that as a member qualify you for the discount or do all credit unions qualify you? I realize it's at the dealers discretion but where's the list if there is one?

It's been awhile since I did it but I think the list comes up once you sign up for the program. I do remember that it's very easy and the list was massive.

Bought a 2014 pre-price increase vert for a total of over $8,000.00 off. Used my membership in Navy Federal Credit Union. Financed it there too, no problem and even got a 1.54% rate.

Yep, you have to begin registration on the site to see the list

It's silly, but that's how it is

I went to mygmdiscount.com, registered and got an authorization number. Then went to Build & Price, select 2015 Chevrolet, and Corvette is not on the list. Guess they have not updated that part yet.

Does anyone know any dealers around Chicago that for sure take the discount (and have a decent number of allocations?).

Can someone recommend a dealership in the MD/central PA/northern VA area that will honor the CU and military discount? Thanks.

They absolutely prefer that you finance through them.

Can someone tell me are the discounts cumulative. For instance if I can get the credit union discount, am I eligible for any other discounts? ie supplier, etc?

I don't suppose a website exists that shows all the possible discounts available?

No you cannot stack discounts. CU and Supplier are the same discount. The only other rebates that can be added to these are factory incentives (there are none for the Corvette). USAA and one particular GM credit card can also be added to Supplier, I don't think those apply to CU.

The website for the program will show you all the available incentives, that will be your "source of truth", not posts on an Internet forum.
