New guy - Can't decide
I'm looking to get a C7, my first Corvette since a new '78, sold years ago. I'm trying to decide between a 2014 (today) and 2015 (when dealers have them). I haven't seen any discussion about any visual differences in the two year's models. A few people have seen 2015's on the line. Do you know?

No visual differencce except for a couple of new colors available on the 15's (shark gray & DSOM i believe). Only major difference is if you were looking at an automatic, the 14 has a 6spd tranny, the 15 has the 8spd.
Good luck

No serious differences aside from:
1) new colors -- Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic and Shark Gray (replacing Cyber Gray and Lime Rock Green);
2) Dual exhaust is now coupled with the Z51 package and can't be purchased a al carte;
3) some new wheel options;
4) PDR (performance data recorder) is now coupled with the Navigation and cannot be
separated -- price has increased drastically for this option;
5) overall price of the 2015 is increased;
6) 8sp auto replaces the 2014 6spd auto -- no performance info out yet, though most just assume the performance aspect may be negligible and there will be a 1-2mpg efficiency increase; [also comes with a higher price tag than the 2014 auto];
7) Z06 is introduced in the MY15.
Aside from that, not much else is changed. If you're thinking about getting a MY15 because of teh depreciation of the 14.. well, you might as well get the 14 now at a discount which will obviate any 'depreciation' concerns since you'll most likely be paying msrp if you get a 15 (especially if you want a z51).

There are some good deals on the remaining '14s now and whether you want one of them really depends on if you can find one with all the options you want. Some nice new options on the '15s though so good luck on your decision.
