PDR Valet Mode Automatic Recording
I read one article that alluded to a valet mode for the PDR, but this Chevy video goes into some detail about the feature. It turns on video recording when you turn on valet mode.
It doesn't look like a good option for always on dashcam use. The next hope is the Teen Mode that was described in some articles, but again has no real information yet.

PDR Valet mode is only operational while the car is in valet mode (you have entered the PIN code on the Infotainment screen). The problem is that Valet mode locks the Infotainment screen and steering wheel controls. It will function as an always on dash cam but you won't be able to use anything else on the MyLink system.
Teen mode is a bit more stealthy and the rest of the system should function as normal and it will record video and audio for as long as you have available SD card capacity at which time it will stop.
