Default No more window sticker at Corvette Museum

Anyone know why the Corvette Museum does not sell Window Stickers anymore?

The site says, "Effective immediately, due to circumstances beyond our control, window stickers will not be available. We will be offering only build sheets..."

I believe it was indicated in a prior NCM newsletter that they were having problems with the vendor providing the window stickers.

Sounds like a pricing dispute to me...

We even have to pay for our own C7's Window Sticker, you kidding?
Shouldn't it come with the car Free @ $80,xxx+?
Do they charge extra for the Window Glue too?

That's too bad for second owners of cars. I was second owner of a C6 and was happy to get the window sticker and build sheet repros from NCM.

I read this...too bad, I was going to order one for my dad's C6 for Christmas this year. Hopefully they bring the option back.

It's for reproduction stickers, primarily for used vehicles or restorations. Of course you get the window sticker on a new car and for a few $$ they will laminate it right there as you wait.

When you buy the car new you get the factory window sticker. The NCM was offering reproduction stickers which was handy if you bought a car used and wanted a sticker for your records.

On the NCM Facebook page they indicated that this might be temporary. I think they may be looking for another supplier.

I assume they are looking for another supplier as well. This seemed to be a popular product and brought some extra $ for the NCM. Many owners (myself included) like an extra one to display at shows, etc. while keeping the original safe at home. Unless GM had/has a problem with the NCM selling these I've got to think they will be offered again soon.

I like when people don’t pay attention and revive a completely unrelated, 6+ year old thread.

My dealer kindly framed it without me asking for it...called me a couple of weeks after i picked up the C7 and that was a nice surprise.

That's pretty final. It doesn't really matter why.
