Ordered my 2015 today
I'm beside myself with glee. I ordered my 2015 C7 today and from a dealer with allocation a just a bit over an hour away. Sure saves me airfare to MD, MI, OH, NJ or other high volume dealer locations. I also think the service relationship will be improved, and the dealer also sponsors the local Corvette Club including a bash at their dealership each July.
Got a good trade-in price on my low mileage 2010 Equinox. MSRP and no doc fees. Difference between my trade allowance and MSRP amount will save me a bunch in reduced sales tax.
I think most Corvette buyers do not have access to supplier or employee discounts, so IMHO MSRP is a fair deal, contrary to what some have been saying on this forum.
My salesman, also the owner, told me that he's frequently offered 2-3 thousand over MSRP from other dealers who of course turn around and bump up prices perhaps 5K or 10K over MSRP. He has integrity and will not sell to them; he'd rather serve his customers and build allocation.
Anyway, I buried the lead:
I ordered a Shark Gray/Kalahari, 2LT Coupe, A8, painted roof panel, left the calipers dark gray, NPP, ERI, and EYT.
Now the waiting starts, but what a good feeling.

Enjoy the agony! I have been waiting for my '15 Z51 since I put down a deposit in April. It was built on the 15th and is sitting in bowling green. Ship it already, I need it! Congrats on the order. Can't wait to see some shark grey's in the wild.

I am getting the "Manheim auction prices are high for used so we are not discounting 14s" Likely because non Chevy dealers want to sell Corvettes too and as far as I know no one knows of the supplier pricing available from GM. Dealers here just laugh at the thought.
I am going to check with one primary truck dealer who does not sell many Vettes. Maybe two a year. They may order one but then again they won;t be high priority wither I suppose.
I am not paying MSRP for a 14 now. Would for a 15 IF it was the exact car I wanted on the lot already, Few are.
