I got a call from my selling dealer that it was at the courtesy dealer. The truck came in late last night and unloaded my car this morning. I got to drool all over it but was told that I couldnt have it until the PDI was completed so I will be picking it up tomorrow. I got my paperwork and temp tag via fedex today so I am good to go.

Officially the order was placed on August 15th. But I gave a deposit in June or early July.

I was going to place with Les Stanford but I wanted to wait until pricing was announced and by then the list was huge. I placed my order and gave my deposit on 7/30 and basicaly got the car at the same time had I placed much earlier with LS.

Smart move, I place my deposit on May 1 with Les Stanford and still waiting. The one good thing is that I am price protected.

I almost wasn't price protected. I will be making a thread detailing my saga but in the end, I wound up purchasing the car for pre Aug. 4 supplier pricing. I gleaned a wealth of knowledge and information from this site, then I went to work. I chose Hendricks Shawnee Mission because they were a top 15 Corvette dealership, would take supplier, and are the nation's second-largest privately held automotive dealership group and the sixth-largest automotive dealership group overall, based on 2013 units sold. I figured if I had any issues, I could go up the ladder far enough until I got an acceptable resolution. Thankfully, that was not necessary. Plus I didn't see many on here that were talking about them so I knew they wouldn't have a huge waiting list from this forum which they did not.

Thanks, after 4 hours and 70 miles of getting to know my new car and showing it off to friends, I would have to say that the driving experience outweighs the great looks. You will enjoy.

I did have a chrysler 300 pull up next to me only to stomp on it within 4 minutes of me driving it. I also had a few camaros and a focus st ride my *** LOL. This car does draw attention.

Mine was built on 9/19, VIN 4808. I hit Toledo on 9/27 and now waiting for a west bound rail car. Final destination Mira Loma, CA.

You better check back in with us once you get it. Its raining badly here. I put 200 miles on mine already and let my brother drive it today before the rains came in. What an amazing car.

Just brought it home, like 20 mins ago

Yeah no rain here yet, but its coming.

It really felt like Christmas, I got to unwrap the whole car with my father. I will post pics later.

My car had 5 when I picked it up and has like 27 now.
