Default Any news on an EROD LT-1 or LT-4 yet?

Or even a non 50 state legal LT-1 or LT-4 Crate Engine.

Either way. I am looking at possibly putting an EROD into my 86 Z-28, or possibly into a C3. Looking at the torque curve of the LT1, it's a much more desirable engine for my needs than the LS3.

Only reason I'm not doing it to my 89 C4, is because my 89's my daily. And I'm keeping it old school style (complete with aftermarket Long tube runners) as a sleeper..that I might procharge later.

I guess I could get a totaled C7 on fleabay and bring more goodies over to one of those two cars, if I had to... but I love the 50k mile warranty that comes with a GM Crate Engine.

No, but they did hint that the LT-4 would be available at some point. It's going to be a while though. The LT-1 has been out for about a year now and it's still not available from Chevy Performance.

I got a little while of waiting yet I guess. That's alright. Gives me more time to decide whether I'm keeping the Z or getting the C3.

Still working on harness/controller options for the LT1 crate engine. We promised it for SEMA this year.

Thanks,
Jamie

And this is why this forum is amazing. Well one of the many reasons.

Thanks for the heads up!

A lot of hotrodders and builders are going to be glad to hear that. With so many aftermarket frames, sub-frames, and chassis upgrades available for older vettes and classic chevys, that use modern corvette suspension parts, it's time for a harness/controller for the antilock brakes, active suspension, and etc. Are you working on anything like that?

Definitely want to know about this as well. Probably one of the reasons, that I'm not doing it to my 89, and instead another car. I don't want to lose the ABS.
