Reminds me of 1968 Corvette Bronze which I had and loved.

Ya kudos for taking the time to do this by the way. I have been granted a Z06 allocation and I am thinking the orange with the dual carbon flash stripe... I just want to make sure the color isn't too burnt. The color on the configurator is actually perfect if it is close. Ideally, the dark brown seats would have been nice but it may not be an option so kalahari will do, 2LZ, auto, Nav/Pdr...and then throw in a bit darker tint on the windows all around.

corgidog1, that was my first thought when I saw the gas cap door in a previous thread. I had a '68 corvette bronze L71,m22,4:11 gears, no power steering or power brakes, hooker headers w/sidepipes. It was LOUD and rode like sh*t, boy do I miss that car!

We've see a gas filler door, and now a hood painted Daytona Sunrise Orange. I wonder if we'll ever get to see a complete car in that color.

Here is another angle of the same hood. It was clear and sunny - as bright as it gets. The color did not pop at all, at least in my opinion. It was a little dark even in the sunlight. I did not feel a wow factor. People would walk by it and not even notice it.

I would notice it but I love the color. I think it just depends on a persons taste on whether or not they notice it. I loved the original DSOM and I think this is pretty close to that color. I am looking forward to seeing it in person.

Not a winner in my humble opinion.

Thanks for the hot dogs Rick.

I bet you that they will discontinue this color within a year or two, and bring something back similar to Atomic Orange.

None of the colors that were not true orange lasted with GM. The original DSOM only lasted 2 years, and Inferno Orange did not last much either. I wonder why they discontinued Atomic Orange, as it was the most popular orange for GM.

To Dark... Looks to close to a Brown color.

Wish they would offer a Orange C7 color... Maybe 2016 or 2017.

I like it. I think with black wheels and the black vents and black bottom rear panel, it will look great. Cant wait to see the whole car in that color.

In those pics, SG looks good!

All the other pics I've seen it's a lot lighter. Are those pics not accurate?

BRING BACK CYBER GREY!!! They discontinued their #3 color!
