Default Whew this was a close call!

I was driving North on 95 and had to react pretty quickly. If not, I think I would have been making an appointment with the body shop. It was a 2x4 that was about 3ft. long. My dashcam caught all the action.

Wow, that was a close call....

Several years ago, I was driving down the interstate in the dead of night in a rented Toyota minivan when a 4x8' sheet of plywood flew up out of nowhere and smashed into the front of the van at 70mph. Damage must have been in the thousands, don't really know as I later tossed the keys to the rental car guy and told him to have the insurance cover the damages...

Who knew they were using 2x4's to repair pot holes? :-)

Looks like it impacted a Chrysler product. Seems appropriate.

It's a Lukas 7900 ACE. I've had almost a year now. I bought it when I first got the car. I also purchased a back up power source LUKAS LK-530-12V that helps it to run 24–7 without draining the battery and a generic UV filter $7 to improve picture quality.

Here's a good source for information.
