Default Curb Rash!

Got the right rear 20" Stock Silver wheel on my C7 too close to the curb and scratched a small area of the paint. I have sanded it smooth and need to know what paint/brand to use as matching touch-up. Went to O'Reilly Auto Parts yesterday and couldn't find one that looked right. Any help is appreciated!

Go to a wheel repair person and have it fixed correctly. You'll never know it was damaged.

I went through this with my wheels - stock 18/19. The color code for the non-Z51 wheels is GM SPARKLE SILVER METALLIC WA9967, but the Z51 color may be ULTRA SILVER WA8867-W. You will also need clear coat - both paints dry flat.

BTW- I had some deep scratches on both passenger side wheels and they now look perfect. Just takes time and patience. Good Luck.

The wheel repair guys I have used do a great job. We have had our silver painted wheels on our Porsche repaired and you cannot tell. The guy I use can even straighten rims.

My wife's Porsche Boxter seems to be very prone to road rash. The wheel repair guy the dealer uses does a fantastic job of repairing the damage. Road rash cost around $100. A dented wheel is around $250-$300. That is much cheaper than the cost so a new mag wheel!

Thanks to all; I'll be checking out the options on Tuesday morning.
