I know but for some reason it appears to be darker on all the stingray shots that I have seen.

It is not a great picture to show the red, but here it is.

I've got a convertible coming with the gray interior and gray top. Now seeing how much "brown" is in the Shark Gray, I'm not sure if a gray interior and/or top is going to work. I'll post pictures as soon as I get it so you can make up your mind for sure.

I like the shark grey, but I'll stay with Blade Silver.

The brownish tinge is also my concern. Ended up ordering the silver.

I see a bit of brown in the photos (haven't seen it in person). but that doesn't really bother me. my 03 Z4 was a bit brown as well.

When and If my car ever makes it home I will post a bunch of pictures.
Mine has AR int and Red Cal and when I was in BG this past weekend and when the sun hits the car it is Great. Makes the CF trim realy work much better than on Dark Gray. The styling of the car works. my .02

I've seen in person and when you take out the Kal. int the brown is gone. Not sure why they picked the kal. with this color to show. worked with CG but Sg needs AR, lt Gray or Black to make the contrast work.

Call it brown, call it pewter, call it whatever you want but there is definitely a warm tint that comes through in the sun but not inside or under cloud cover.

We've had a few forum members see the color in person over the last 2 days and they all commented on it.

Honda calls their "Gray w/ brown" Smokey Topaz.

I wish they kept CG but since they didn't I ordered my 15' in TR.

While I still like the Cyber Gray color better, the Shark Gray looks good too.

Thanks for doing this....great comparison. I really like the SG but still glad I pulled the trigger this spring and purchased a CG and enjoyed all Summer! If I got a shark grey now I would have to change the license plate and that would be way too much trouble.

Well said. Silver is a is a timeless good color. TSG and CG do nothing for me but there is obviously a large group who love those colors. Something for everyone.

I agree. I see brown in it as well. I like this color on sharks, not the Corvette. To me this color is neither sporty or classy.
