A lot of the guys here that know me know that silver with red is my favorite car and that still stands. This past year, white/red was number two. Shark Gray may take that spot at #2 once I see a few more.

I'm glad Amoni showed me the silver/red coupe. Decided to take that one rather than wait for a 2015.
Blade Silver. Because the other shades of gray, though beautiful, can look too much like the color of the highway you're driving on. After weeks of driving the same car, gray can fast become boring to it's owner. Blade Silver stands out in those cases..
Gray can also be a difficult color to choose correctly. Because it is quickly associated with "Being too light, or too dark". No matter what it on, difficult to match.
Easy to say all three shades are beautiful too. Contrasts well in red too.
I think the new gray brings more variety to the line up. Plus it seems to have some huge variances in color depending on whether you see it in the sun or in the shade. Some pictures make it look pretty light. Other have it looking close to cyber gray.
It's all about the METALLIC content in the paint with different types of light and angles.Very,very hard car to pick a fav. color.
I plan to get a Z51 in Shark Gray Metallic with gray interiors, carbon flash hood stinger and red calipers. No red stripes; just too much accent color. Whaddayathink?
Addendum 9/7/14: I have to admit I'm really going back and forth on this blade silver vs. shark gray issue and have to make a decision before I order mine around the first of the year.
The shark gray is beautiful, although in some lighting conditions it looks darker than I would have hoped. However, the blade silver sometimes almost looks white! I used to own a Firebird that was a mid-body pairing of silver over dark gray like some of the old C3 Pace Car models were - which I always thought was a perfect color mix (not too much silver).
I just can't help but think that an all-silver car - even with red accents would look pretty bland.

The lighting that makes Shark Gray look best make Blade Silver look white. The lighting that makes Blade Silver look best makes the Shark Gray look a little dark.
Cyber Gray looks so much like the road a bird flew into the side of my car the other day and killed itself. I heard a bang and looked in my mirror to see the little fellow on the ground.

I feel bad for the folk who wanted cyber gray. It was the best gray I've ever had or seen.
I know Cyber Grey has been gone a while. But who's up for a petition to bring it back. I have black now, but wish I had Cyber Grey. Maybe they'll bring it back for the C8.
