Default Trailering/Tie Down for a C7

Looking at a C7 R8C delivery and trailering it back to OKC. I have seen the hooks that fit into the jack pads for a C6. That looks good but just wanted to ask for any new news...

What is the best way to trailer a C7, those hooks? Strapping the wheels? Uhaul trailer v enclosed trailer with tie down rings?

Thanks for the help,
Doc

Straps over the tires is the correct way, I would not tie down to any hard frame parts, too much tension and stress.

That's how all the top tier car haulers tie them down.

I use 4' tire straps (not tire nets) with snap hooks in my enclosed trailer. Just make sure the front one's are on the bottom of the rim or you will bend the rubber air deflectors when you tighten the straps. Leave it in neutral and set the parking brake. Check the straps tightness after driving 25 - 50 miles. I've towed 4k+ miles now to multiple HPDE's like this with no issues.
