Default Nightmare: Me vs. Mosquito Truck

Was driving out of my neighborhood to get a pizza the other night in my fresh washed Corvette. Argh! Here comes the mosquito dude with a huge cloud behind him. Nowhere to go. Narrow streets, no time to u-turn, no time to pull into a driveway and turn around. Just goosed it and tried to get out the other side of the cloud. BTW the top was down. It sucked!

Mosquitoes will now stay away from your car.

It wasn't a mosquito truck, that was OnStar's mobile service truck. They were a little confused about reports of bugs in the infotainment system.

I remember them well from growing up in Gulfport, MS and it sounds like they haven't changed much in many years. The clouds they produce can result in sudden near zero visibility which is what happened in the fatal crash of actress Jayne Mansfield in 1967.

Wow! Didn't know that. Now that I know the time they spray, I won't go out then.

Nah, you'll be all right, just like this guy. That's why they call the underride guards "Mansfield bars."
