Wired 85k Thursday for the car and as was pulling out ...until Dealership Owner got in front of the car and stated i could not have it, and that they were forbidden from letting me drive off by there GM Regional Manager even though the car was now 100% mine! . So now I effectively own a car that I cannot drive, is locked on a showroom floor, and that has no projected date for a resolution . Very disappointed ! but wanted to share a great color combo !
That combo is really really nice-did you consider putting a black stinger on that baby? I think it would work great. If so now might not be a bad time as the car is on hold.

All good today, The car was paid for on Thursday evening, so the actual delivery date was before the stop order. I respect that they had to wait for the powers that be to review everything. Great vehicle that is replacing a Ferrari 430... NO REGRETS ... Bravo GM!

David I'm sure it will be a lot cheaper to maintain than the 430. I am keeping my 360 cause I love it. I also am looking forward to the Z06 that I have ordered. Hope your car clears quickly, but sounds like they will correct the issue quickly. You patience will pay off with a great car.
Another option if you didn't get the red calipers is to buy red wheel edges: a very thin red band that fits around the edge of your rim. The 1/4-inch "track" sticks firmly onto the outer edge of the rim and the red accent band snaps into it. Looks awesome and adds just a hint of color.

Great looking color... The black / carbon trim looks really good with that color. Gives the car a little more aggressive look.
As per Mike's thread, I drove up this morning to pick my car up. We had a great time and I got the car home safely. Unfortunately I missed the good light by the time I got it washed and Zainoed. (I should have just taken photos once I got it home as Mike's guys had it clean for delivery anyway)
I'll try to get better photos in better light soon.
I know some people here have said that the excitement is dying down, but that has not been my experience. I can't go anywhere without people rolling down their windows to yell that they love the new C7, overhearing people exclaim on sidewalks, have people pull U-turns to come talk about it when they see me park, etc.
I'm ordering a Shark Grey with double black hood stripe DTH, 2LT kalahari int, Z51 Appearance pkg. Wanted the stripe to give the car a more corvette>>>> look. Without the striping, I feel I would be ordering just another CTS. What are your cmts?? I have 48 hours to decide if I want to change to a blk hood Stinger DTW.
What effects does polishing./waxing have on the vinyl. Can I remove later without damage if I decide I don't like it? Also, does anyone know the nil effects, if any, of the striping installed on the lexan transparent roof?? Can that be removed without any damage to the lexan?
