The latest in Z06 news:

CORVETTE Z06

•First DOSP (dealer order submission process) Sept Cycle 1 (9/18)

•Estimated Guide was posted to GMPI (General Motors Program Info) Sept 2
–Z06 allocation based on past 12 months Stingray sales
–Every eligible Stingray Dealer will be offered at least one Z06 some time during 2015 model run
–Note: Only Dealers who were Eligible Stingray Dealers on Aug 28 are included in Z06 allocation

•Only Coupe with Manual Transmission available at SORP (start of retail production) 8-Speed Auto and Convertible will phase in 1-2 months after

•Note about Z07 Package
–Tendency will be to “load up” Z06
–But would advise Z07 is an aggressive performance package that may not be for everybody

Thanks for the post. This reminded me that I needed to order some splash guards. They were cheaper than anywhere I've seen and it was a smooth and easy transaction. Bob was very helpful and informative.

Just one more question, How or where can I compare the Chevrolet Protection Plan against the GMPP plan. Is one any better than the other?
Thanks again Ken

GMPP - General Motors Protection Plan
Originally a product of General Motors.
During bankruptcy, GM sold off the finance portion of their business including protection plans to Ally.
GMPP is now a product of Ally and is regulated. As a result our ability to sell the plan is limited to specific states.

Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac Protection Plans
These are a product of General Motors.
In most cases the price is less than GMPP.
These plans offer a greater rental car reimbursement.
These plans offer a greater towing reimbursement.
These plans cover shocks that are not covered by GMPP

We feel that the new protection plans are a better product.

At present we are offering the new protection plans and have the ability to quote and write these plans.

In the near future we will be able to also quote and offer the GMPP.

I hope that this helps!

Have a great day

That shock coverage is a MAJOR upside for owners with MSRC.
