What a day Sunday was. Car trouble, and won a car show!
I had some car trouble on Sunday which I have another thread about which took place on my way to the Hot Wheelz Weekend car show in Bonita Springs Florida. Event poster here:
Was a great show. Lots of amazing cars to see. Many classic muscle cars that had countless amounts of hours of sweat and tears in them. Some of the memorable ones to me were two very nice 69 Camaro's, a 32 Ford Choptop, 55 Chevy pickup, 69 Ford Mustang, 39 *******, 70 Chevelle, Ferrari 360 Modena, etc. two Corvette, one 89 in decent condition, one 2011 GS with turbo and an insane amount of chrome on it. Just too many more to list off.
The whole show there were people coming up and asking me what all I had done to it. They all said it just looks so nice and that it looked very tastefully modified. Long story short, there was one trophy to win for best of show, and my car took the cake! Due to rain they shut down early so they didn't announce who won that day. I found out by a call today from the event manager. Since this was put on by a few radio stations they will be announcing my win on the radio, in the newspapers, and on their site once I get a good picture for them. Tomorrow I should be able to pick up the trophy!
I have been in several car shows with other previous cars I owned, and only one other show with my C7 right after I first got it. I have never ever placed or gotten a trophy before so winning this was truly special to me

Nice.
I was in Naples at the end of February and saw a lot of really nice rides driving around town.

A greyhound track?
Would that be a naple(s) ring?
