Doesn't look like many people regret getting a 2014. Me included! I would have missed out on the 2014 summer driving season!
And BTW, this same post will probably show up next year as "Who Regrets Getting The 2015 Ant Not Waiting For The 2016?"
And the following year, "Who Regrets Getting The 2016 And Not Waiting For The 2017?"
And the following year, "Who Regrets Getting The 2017 And Not Waiting For The 2018?"
Etc, etc, etc.

Glad I waited for the late build 2014....but wait even more to pay more and get a recorder with the 2015? Nope....love my C7 3LT Z-51 M7

Only regret is I wish GM would have offered supplier/employee/CU discounts earlier. I paid almost full msrp as many other early buyers. But thats the price you pay for being first on the block. I guess the 2K bump in price helped ease the pain a bit..
The 8 speed would have been nice too I guess, but for what I do the 6 speed works just fine.
Just like cell phones, computers, big screen TVs etc they are pretty much obsolete by the time you buy them. I have zero regrets and have had few problems with the car, may get rid of it for a Z06 when the hoopla wears off or even a Hellcat if I get bored..

I would have liked to get the A8 but when the window of opportunity opens and my wife agrees...then you jump at it. It may never come along again. Plus, the same car would have cost me 4K more. No regrets.

Maybe the early adopters didn't get such a great deal after all. Most of them paid MSRP(some above that) where many of the ones that bought late 2014's and now 2015's are getting discounts off MSRP(that helps offset the MSRP increase).

I'll join the not me crowd as well.
Ordered my car before the March 1 price increase on the 2014's, got a good discount at the time, so I saved $7,500 off the current MSRP for my exact car; and I got to drive it for 6 months of our 8 month season. Taking delivery of a C7 in late September or early October only to put it away around Thanksgiving just doesn't make sense - I'd rather have it in late March.

I guess I will have to live with the 6 speed auto and w/o the data recorder...

Nope, not me. The 2014 C7 is the premier and first one in this generation. No matter how many "improvements" are made in later years, the 2014 C7 is the one to have! It's a collector's edition.
