There is no pronounced advantage in owning a '15. I have enjoyed 8k miles of driving the most sensational (smiles per dollar!) car on the scene today! I bought a base model to keep the price reasonable. But! Even the "entry level" car is extraordinary!. There a a few options I would like to have on the next one but the sheer goodness of this car is undeniable!

I see buyers spending 20K plus for a loaded '15 coupe....why for that money i can have an additional used or NEW car and keep the C7!!!

Got mine before all of the price increases. It has everything I would ever want on this car. Even the orphan A6 is a pleasure to drive. I smile every time I drive it. I was going to wait but glad I didn't.

There is no benefit going from a 14 to a 15. Price increase, automatic 8. Happy with my torch red. Great car. New Jersey traffic makes the transmission a non factor.

I am finally getting my 15 in the next month and a excited about that...but I would have way rather spent the summer driving around in a 14 if there were any to be found in canada after December of last year...money in the bank can't replace a year that i could have been driving with an ear to ear smile!

Only if it is LRG.
As to the question. bought a 2005 in 2005 and never once worried that it had a lowly 4-speed Automatic. Kept it for 7 years.

Fast forward to 2014. Bought one in Feb, been driving it for 8 wonderful months and so far I see nothing on the 2015 that will make me rethink my decision. Plus I did get LRG, the best color.

Nope, between the price increases and depreciation of my C6, way ahead. Don't need/want the PDR. Got the seven speed manual transmission so no advantage there. There is one thing, 4G Internet capability, oh well.

The closest thing to 'regret' I had was when the base pricing for the Z06 was released, and that was temporary. I could've afforded a base model Z06 with *no* options on it, but not much else. I quickly realized I'm fine the way my current car is, cause even with the cost of an aftermarket supercharger I'm still less than the base cost of a Z06 and still have all my options.

The thread title should read "who regrets waiting for the 2015 and not getting the 2014.

I will never put down the C7, doesn't matter which year, but I do not regret buying a 2014 in the least, so far I've had 9 months of trouble free driving, spring, summer, now fall and winter again. I regret nothing, I'm happy for the 2015 owners, I know they will enjoy their car as much as I do, as a matter of fact, when I got home from work 45 mins ago as I got out of my car I said to myself "I love this car".

I have been enjoying my C7 for months and the price increased $6K+ for the same car.

Exactly! I bought mine before any price increase, the same car built today would cost me 6k more for the same options.

Looks like the verdict is in, no regrets. 2014 owner here. This car is reminding me of my 05'coupe...the best car I ever owned.

I'm fine with what I've got. This thread could be the same for the ZO6 too.

No regrets...bought a 2014...drove it 5300 miles...traded it on a 2015...
Why, some might ask...just because is the answer.
