Wish me luck. headed to the track.
Going to the track this weekend. This will be the little girl's 17th and 18th day on the track.
2014 Z51 7spd mag ride. I'm confident she will do just fine has she has the other 16 days on the track. Sebring, Road Atlanta, and Barber Motorsports.
She is filled with 15w-50 and rotor rings installed. Just turned 19,000 trouble free miles.
I'm on my 3rd set of GM rotors and my 4th set off Cobalt pads.
Life is good.

Holy cow! That is good advertising for the boys at GM. Maybe it help to quell some of the death toll threads that have been going on for the last few months. Having a car do what they said it would do is good karma, and nice of you to note that you prepped it per factory specs. Have fun and do well.

Nice to see someone using the car. Do you just leave the 15w50 in during "track season"? I run 10w40 amsoil in my C5Z race car year round. I figure if I get a C7 I was just going to do the same, but wouldn't want to give GM any wiggle room on a warranty claim on track. Don't care to do oil changes after every weekend. I change the oil in the race car after every 2 or 3 weekends at the track.

Very interesting post. Quite a tribute to the durability of your car and yes, it’s nice to read something other than whining about some fault perceived or otherwise. Don
