Poll - 24 Hours to decide Torch Red or Laguna Blue
I've been waiting since late June for this day to arrive...I received a call from the dealership that production on my 2015 Z51 can begin...and that I have to finalize my order so that they can process it.
So help me pick the color...I've got it down to Torch Red or Laguna Blue. Thank you for your help! Also, if you can say "why" you picked one color over the other I would appreciate it.
***I realize that these are not 2015's or maybe not the EXACT car I'm ordering...but I just wanted to give visuals so that people have an idea. My corvette will be a coupe, with black interior, black rims, a large black fin, black mirrors, and a black stripe that goes halfway down the hood.***

Definitely red--I guess you can see why I picked that color!

You can't go wrong with either color. If I had a choice between red or blue I would get the Blue. I've had two red and one yellow previously and went with Yellow this time. Blue was my second choice and red third.

I've had this dilemma for the longest time as well. But I think I've finally decided on blue, as that's been my color choice for the past few weeks. But I really like the blue because it's not as common as red (I've seen at least 5/6 different reds in my city driving and no blue as of yet).
I was thinking about going with the blacked out wheels, mirrors and spoiler like you but I decided on a cleaner look with body color mirrors and spoiler, and then silver wheels. And for that I think looks a lot better on laguna blue.

Blues change throughout the production of most all cars, vettes included. (Think of all the different blues on the c5 and c6.)
There will always be red, so no one will know which year your car is by the color.
That being said, I LOVE the laguna blue. Had I not just had an aqua blue Camaro, I'd have considered it. I also didn't consider red because my c6 was red.
Good luck with your decision!

Both beautiful colors on a C7. Why I chose Laguna Blue?
1) I always wanted a blue Corvette if it was the right Blue. On the C5 and C6 it was LaMans Blue that stood out. With it being gone, Laguna Blue is an even better Blue IMO, so that's what I bought. Look <<<<<<<<.
2) My '05 C6 was a red, and I never buy any car twice in a row from the same color family.
But, you need to have at least one Red Corvette in your life. Up to you if it is that time NOW.

Torch Red - base color, no additional charge. Laguna Blue adds $950 to the sticker price. I had the same problem selecting a color, I never pay extra for a premium color. I selected Night Race Blue, happy with my choice.

We ordered my wife's C7 convertible last Nov. It is the first car she has ordered just the way she wanted it. She sat down with the salesman and checked all the boxes on the order form to configure the car just for her. When it came to selecting a color, though, she was stumped.
She asked me what color she should get. I tried to to influence her. Well, she decided on Laguna Blue with a black interior. I told her I thought that was a good color combination. It was a long wait, she didn't take delivery of the car until March 2014.
When she saw it she knew she had made the right choice. Laguna blue is a great color for the C7 Corvette. There isn't a time we go some place in her car that someone doesn't pull up beside us, roll down their window, and tell us what a beautiful car it is. People drive by all the time and give her the thumbs up and come over to talk about the car wherever we stop.

My 2015 is white as I could not afford the cost of the blue option.
But seriously I have had 3 previous red corvettes and a blue one.
If I did not live in south Florida this time I would go with the blue and have my calipers powder coated blue with chrome wheels.
That is just the opinion of an old man.
The Corvette you buy is your personal choice and not ours. Either way you will enjoy the car.
Good Luck and let us know your final choice.

I had the same dilemma. I was sure that I was going to order laguna blue of over a year. As I looked at more and more C7s in different colors I became convinced that torch red was the color for me. I received my 15 TR Z51 coupe last Friday and am extremely pleased with my color choice.
To me TR shows off the body lines and creases the best of any color. It really accentuates the beautiful design of the C7 coupe.
