Default When will they stop making the C7?

I'm sure this has been discussed 1000 times and people are giving estimates based on previous corvette generations, but does anyone know for sure when they will stop producing them and move onto a new model?

Oh crap, what time zone are you in? I'm out west, so that gives me less than 25 minutes to cut a deal.

Should be pretty obvious....

They're going to stop making the C7 just before they start making the C8.

I am betting that regulations may affect the length of the run.

I've never had 20/20 vision so I'm unqualified to make any predictions. Now I feel left out.

Probably two/three MYs after demand falls off, ie, less than 15K units sold/produced per year.

Honest question. Is there a typo or were there no Corvettes built in 1983?

The only one left is in the Museum. None sold.

There were a few '83 Corvettes built, but none were sold to the public and only one remains now. It is at the National Corvette Museum. The '84 model year had an extended production run (about 16-17 months if I recall right) thus the high number of 1984 cars produced.

As to the OP's question, I'd guess the C7 will last about 8 model years, so around 2022 the C8 will come out.

At age 63 I am hoping to get new C8 for my 70th birthday in 2021!

But until then I LOVE my C7! You will too!
