Not a real BMW fan, but I have to admit that is a pretty badazz car they came up with.

Pretty cool video, the Vette launched pretty good, and pulled down the road as you would expect. Thanks for sharing.

No problemo..
The i8 is cool, bot awkward looking at the same time. The tech is derivative of Voltech from GM. Please don't tell me that the poaching of Frank Webber, one of the key engineers in developing GM's Volt technology is irrelevant in this car. They have shorter range so that they can get larger performance. Say versus the ELR.. the i8 has 22 mile range on EV vs the ELR at 39. The BMW used a more powerful petro engine but a smaller battery
The i8 is pretty much what the better looking Cadillac ELR should have been imo. GM has the tech but won't use it in this fashion.. they wanted to go for the Fuel misers only. Had they tuned it for more speed they would be better justified in their pricing. The looks are what sell this car

Yes, i8 would be my choice of a car if the Vette didn't exist, Although at $136K, it's a tough price to swallow.
Approximately the same price as a brace of "His and Hers" Corvettes.
If it were priced in the F-Type Coupe range ($65-$75K), I'd be all over it.
It is very cool car indeed.

Fast shifting on that A8.....seems a little faster than my A6. It would nice to see the two brother A6 vs A8 in a drag race. And it really doesn't matter who would win.

Can't see it. Looks like a jumbeled mess. If I had to go German in this segment it'd be the R8 hands down. THANK GOD.. American makes the C7 and even Z28

got to love the "synthisized " motor sound in the cockpit.....suppposed to be "enhanced" with electonics...
