Looking for opinions before I purchase a C7 listed on Ebay

Safety Car
Looks ok. I like the color... I like the front splitter and side skirts (minus the red stripe).
But I would get rid of those black stripes on the fenders. Kinda to much going on. A little to busy looking.
And I would seriously clean up the rear bumper by removing all those emblems. It looks very cluttered looking with all those different types of emblems stuck on it.
It's a good looking car, but someone went crazy with all the clutter... A little "cleaning up" and it will be a GREAT looking car.

Safety Car
I personally don't build up a car and not dog the living hell out of it. That said, I have also seen plenty of cars modded to 7,8,900 hp and then some, and they're driven as casually as a minivan. Caveat Emptor. Buyer Beware. If anything explodes it's on your dime. An 87 year old who isn't Carroll Shelby probably isn't thrashing his car, but then again, if it were me? At 87 what do I have to lose vs. how much fun am I having? Some of us never grow up.

Buy it if you can get the owner to sign an agreement to cover any damage to the engine if you don't mod it for the next 2 years. That would be a reasonable request IMO.

Only thing that scares me is an 87 YO dude would do this to a car. Did he forget the neon lights? I'm thinking he is probably posing for some mindless 30 YO who figured out he can't afford child support payments and the car.
