Warning fellow Corvette friends-Don't waste your time
Been waiting all month to go to the Corvette/Chevy show at Dallas Market Hall. After $10 dollars to park $15 a person to get in to the show. I would of had for fun sitting the $40 dollars on fire.
Don't waste your time or money Not many cars at all and just a few vendors attended. And most had nothing their of substance to purchase. But they said they could order it. For me. But I could have done that at the confront of my house. I was hopping to see some of the items I'm interested in at the show.

Now I know where all the Corvettes were going that I saw going north up I-35 E this morning just south of Dallas. Glad I missed it.

Money better spent on gas and a good car wash/wax.

Sad news that the show was not very good. Things like this can lead to the show dying out.

Free parking. $10.00 parking must have been valet. Free entry. Cheeseburger, Sun-Chips, and a Coke = $14.95.
I will agree it was smaller than expected and there was plenty of room for at least another 100 cars. Had I known about this event sooner, I would have entered my Z just so I could meet other Corvette enthusiasts. Entering your car for the 3 days was only $50.00.
That being said, I do take every opportunity to meet other folks and despite the limited amount of vehicles, I got a few good cell phone photos, met Paul from West Coast Corvette, Ken from Corvette World (Dallas), and met quite a few guys who entered their cars to include Danny, who has one of 3 known very special and rare Corvettes remaining that were made for astronauts back in the 60s.
For me, it was a 2 hour and 15 minute drive up. But in addition to the people I got to meet, I also reunited with a buddy, his wife and a few of their friends who I hadn't seen since we were stationed in Germany together, 7 years ago. After the event, we all went and ate at some awesome German resturaunt.
Got some T Shirts, an UltraGuard car cover, met old friends, made some new ones and it was definitely better than sitting at home.

Just did a GOOGLE Map Search to Classic BMW. Dang, that's 2.5 hours away for me.
Looks like a very large parking lot indeed, but "thousands"?
Maybe I should camp out there the night before considering the drive I have. Or, a local hotel!
