The Prescott Corvette Club was delighted that you took the time, effort, and immense expense to travel from Gaithersburg, Maryland to Prescott, Arizona. That trip is a logistical nightmare, to say the least. And you accomplished it in a mere 52 hours ... after you took in the long flight, car rental, drive to Prescott, Car show, lunch, drive back to Phoenix, and the flight home to Maryland.

The Club members, registrants, and throngs of onlookers at the Car Show were thrilled to meet you and talk Corvettes. It was amazing just how many Corvettes at the show were original sales and deliveries by Mike Furman.

Although the Car Show was "called" at noon due to severe weather, you got of a lot hugs, kisses, and hand shakes in for the first 4 hours while you were here.

Ocean City is next up for you this coming Saturday. Stay dry, and don't get lost in the hundreds of Corvettes in that big dogs show!!!

It was absolutely my pleasure! After 36+ years of selling nearly 3,600 Corvettes...I am bound to run into Corvette customers of mine at any given Corvette Show. I just didn't expect in a 4 hr span to run into approx 15 of them 2,300 miles away from home!
Until we meet again, I enjoyed my entire 40 hrs in Arizona!!

Figures...... since Sunday, we have been dry and in the 70's.

Oh well, that is why there is always next year.

The official paid registration car count was 293, minus those who saw the weather coming and drove their SUV's to the Car Show to see everyone else's Corvettes on display.

Lots of events planned in Prescott this weekend.

Weather will be 82*.

Furman just must have brought some of that seasonal and typical East Coast weather with him last weekend.

Prescott has had 19" of rain this year thus far...... highest total since 1898.

Unfortunately, the rain comes down in short, intense periods. Would be nice if it was more consistent and predicatble...... and a bit more "measured" in volume.
