There are hundreds, adams, zaino, blackfire are a few, but wax is not the secret, polish and prep is.

If you are a newbie to detailing, and want a complete step by step for a great look thatis EZ, download and read at least docs 1-4:

I've been avoiding the this wax vs. that wax threads, but my $0.02:

I've spent well over a decade now trying the various "new best" waxes/polishes as they become popular - and as long as we are talking solely about making the car look good and having it protected - nothing has ever beaten Zaino. easy to apply, lasts for months and the Z-CS (which is certainly not the only wipe on walk away sealer out there) is great for a final sealer layer.

for paint repair - look elsewhere of course

and if you're doing car shows, there are lots of other products that may give you a deeper look, a richer look, etc. but for an every day product that is easy to apply, looks great and lasts - zaino.

I like the Adams products for all of the pain correction/polishing but for that final protection I have not found anything better than Rejex!

It is easy to put on and all those damn love bugs here in florida just rinse off thanks to Rejex.

I've been using Zaino for years. Check out the post ... my new torch red convertible. In those pictures I clay bar my car and it has 1 coat of Zaino on it. It's so slick it's hard to put the car cover on.

Asking this question is like asking what is your favorite flavor of Ice Cream? You will get several answers. For well over 17 years I have used exclusively Zaino. However, I have switched to the Pinnacle product line, as I think they have made many advancement with their line, and I have got EXCELLENT results. I use the Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax, as my car is garaged and not exposed to the elements, and the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray, and wash. I still use the Zaino leather care products, but use the Pinnacle Glass Cleaner, and the Nu Finish on the black wheels only. Been very happy with the results, but as Glen said, its PREP, PREP, and PREP that matters. Best of luck.

Zymol. Only one I've used for the last 15 years. I've tried Zaino and I didn't really think it was all everyone said it was. Maybe their quality control wasn't so good back then.

their quality control has been fine over the past 15 years in my experience. you do have to use the products correctly though. Almost every complaint I've ever heard arose out of (1) being like my dad and using way too much (i.e.: 10-15 sprays of Z-CS will do an entire car, if you use 1/4 of the bottle you're going to end up with a mess) and/or (2) not waiting long enough for it to cure when it's either too cold or too humid (ZFX helps shorten cure times significantly if that is an issue)

I also tried it all on every Vette I owned....my garage cabinets are filled with every major brand....but best results were achieved following Glen E's detailing advice and topped it off with Zainos.... their detailer is by far the best I have ever used... there is nothing that make the car shine like their Grand Finale sealer....that stuff is amazing

Please elaborate. I have used Glen E's method on my C5 and have been very pleased with it, but I don't know what I don't know. He recommends a Blackfire sealer and says that sticking with one brand gives you the benefit of synergy. Do you use Zaino Grand Finale instead of the Blackfire? On top of it?

I want my car to look like a swimming pool that I want to dive into. Not quite there yet. I've seen a red C5 with that look and I am envious.

Overpriced! Only if you use to much, maybe. I had a bottle of Z2 that I opened over 4 years ago and I finally finished. That one bottle lasted through about 20-25 coats on three different cars. Yeah a bottle is expensive, but one bottle lasts almost forever...
