I guess this is one time that plsstidip might not work due to temperatures. You might be able to just scuff the tips with sandpaper and use high temperature spray paint?

I checked into powder coating but with the 400 degrees powder coating process the paint bubbles on the c7. It has to be coated at 900 degrees and no one around in the area of iFT Worth Dallas area PC gloss or Black Chrome at 900 degrees only flat black.

There might a reason for that then.

Have you checked with Jet Hot? They coat headers and have a range of colors.

There was a tread a few days ago with an exhaust and it had black tips. Now I can't find it.

Looking at the picture from Livernois, going with Black Chrome might not be a gad idea.

I may have serious interest in this for my Z arriving very soon. Any reason it won't work? Any sound clips of this vs stock? I know it's 44 lbs, but how does that compare to stock? How easy is it to DIY?
