Default Garage parking assistance?

So I just got my C7 and got a one-car garage that my apartment complex offers. The problem is that there's not enough room to do a big swing turn-in so that I can enter it straight forward, I have to enter it at a slight angle(I'm pulling left into the garage so I have bad visibility of the front-right area). This makes me feel HUGELY paranoid about the possibility of clipping the right headlight/bumper area as I'm pulling in.

My question is: is there anything at all that I can do do help guide my parking into it? I was thinking about hanging some kind of rope about a foot away from the right side of the garage that way if I hit it with my right-front headlight, it won't do damage and it will let me know that I am close. I've also seen red/yellow/green light indicators that people have in their garages that sense how close you are to the wall so maybe I could put it near the right side of the entrance? Is there another option?

How about hanging a mirror in the right location, so you can see how far that corner of the car is from the wall. I have one in my car trailer/it helps a lot.

Both are excellent ideas! Can't believe I didn't think about backing it in. First I will see if I can comfortably back the car in and if that needs improvement, I'll get a small mirror for the sides. Thanks so much!!

Get one of the big 18 in. Convex round mirrors. I have 3 stragically placed in my garage. Easy to keep track of my C7 corners. Found them on Amazon.

The guide lines on the screen do help align the car with the opening. Between the camera and mirrors the visibility is quite good. I always back into my narrow door opening.

Like others have said, properly adjust your mirrors and back in. Also it's a good procedure when out for normal parking spots. As you see other Vettes parked in lots you'll notice the majority are backed in. There's a reason.

All you need to do is have a spotter one time help you. Get the left side as close to that side of the garage as you are comfortable with. Let's say ideally your left mirror is 6 inches off the garage frame. Then pull in everytime with this in mind.

If you have a 6 inch space off the left side and say 12 inches off the right......... guaranteed you will have that happen everytime......... your garage dimensions don't change.

In other words don't worry about what you can't easily see......... concentrate on what you can see and the other side takes care of itself everytime. No need to bob your head around strain your neck, it's just a repeative process!!!

I thought the reason a lot of people back into a parking spot in a parking lot was to protect the nose of the car(especially if they have a Z06/ZR1/GS)and to prevent damaging the splitter.

Also it's a lot easier to pull out of a parking slot then backing out, into traffic, especially in a Corvette where seeing out the rear corners of the car is difficult to do.

First thing that came to mind. Back it in.... Car turns sharper in reverse anyways.

Hang a tennis ball on a rope to mark your spot.

Some parking areas have signs saying, "Pull in parking only."
I ignore the signs, and back in. It's really a safety issue as far as I'm concerned.

The PA drivers manual used to specifically state, "Back out of traffic, never back into traffic." They took it out of the manual a few years ago. I guess people's skill set isn't good enough to back between two cars. Oh but they can maneuver through the mall lot at 55 while talking on the phone just fine.

I always back in, and it gets real easy after a while.

If backing in won't work then the convex mirror is a great idea.

Backing in is a breeze. I bet the OP's parking slot is wider than the distance between the uprights on my lift. I have 3 inches clearance to the mirrors on each side.
