Default Clear Side Markers

Does anyone make clear side markers yet for the C7?

Probably not but I had them on my C63 - the police around here (Lincoln, Nebraska) don't care.

Would they be legal if you changed the LEDs in them to Amber and Red?

I'd love to see either clear side markers or red side markers with switchback bulbs emitting the proper color for turning.

I've got these in my Daily Driver (2007 Acura TL Type S).

Thanks for posting that, Fusion. I'd love to just get the side markers and not the rear reflectors.

Im surprised no one makes smoked or clear ones yet. "legal" or not, there would definitely be a market for them

GS Creations offers smoked and clear side markers. I think they are still a pre-order item only but should be available soon. The tinted ones are a full replacement, not a cover. I'm on their pre-order list

Anyone know what the install of these things will be like? I'm very interested in a set.

*edit*
Looking over my car last night, appears the fronts will be incredibly easy, but I'm thinking the bumper will have to come off for the rears.

Check your state DOT. I believe in NY they must present red or yellow even when the lighting is off. HOWEVER, having said that I had clear with yellow on my C6 for years and it passed several inspections and never an issue with LEO's. If you have the amber/red LED's i'd be amazed if you ever ran into an inspector or LEO who knew if it was/wasn't "legal".
