Default Best features of C7?

Just put my order in today for a 2015 Z51 package, wanted to get your guys' perspective on what the best features of the car are. Upgrading from a C6 so if you can use that as a benchmark, would be great

To name just 3:

C7 has an overall higher quality interior fit and finish
C7 is faster
C7 seems more refined yet handles better too.

I came out of a C6 as well. The upgrades are too numerous to list but a few that come to mind are:
  • The C7 feels much more solid and better put together
  • Steering feel is superb
  • Interior quality is outstanding, especially quality of materials and overall layout
  • The LT1 runs circles around my old LS2
  • Seats are fantastic
  • Navigation system is a HUGE improvement
  • Color HUD
  • Exterior styling would be at home on a car costing three times as much

I came from a C6 also. One word answer: everything.

The Aluminum frame is rock solid, had mine for 10k miles with no squeaks or rattles.

Good ground clearance when compared to the C6.

Agree, agree, agree. Interior better was obvious from the very first pictures, faster obvious from the first GM release of stats, but biggest surprise to me was the handling. The C7 seems glued to the road compared to my 2006 C6. I loved that car but this one just seems so much better!

You will LOVE this car.

Having dirven several club members C6, C5, C4, Porsche and Bimmers. The over all is beyond words I can explain. I picked up my Artic White 3LT/Z51 Convert with other exterior add ons. This is definitely a race car within everyone's reach. WOW, I can't wait to be able to take it on a track. Wish I was back in Portland OR. I love that track. To add, since my wife drives a 650i, she even shared that the interior is sportier and up to the class the best interior (Bently).

I just test drove a few C7 Vettes this past week (stick and 8 speed auto). It's a significant upgrade from the C6. Feels quick but overall I'm not impressed with straight line power because I'm currently driving a supercharged C6.

Put it this way, I wouldn't mind swapping out my C6 and slapping a blower on the C7 lol. My thoughts of the car are pretty much along the lines of the people who just posted above me.

Casual car people will notice it as a different and new corvette where they likely can't tell the difference in the last 15 years or so of the car.

With all the above. And one more thing I'd like to add. I had a terrific looking C5 and later a beautiful C6. Had many great comments about both of those cars on the road and also at the track.
But my Stingray exceeds both of them in every catagory and is an absolute "head turner"!! It's really amazing from people even that you'd never expect.

I had a C5 as my previous corvette and for me it was the seats and the headlights ( especially night driving ) and I did a lot on my drive from KC to home Seattle !!! Wayne

This is by far number 1.

I could not give a crap what cars are faster, etc, the Stingray has to be one of the best looking cars on the road today. You will NOT find anything close in the looks department for this price point.

I loved my C5 and love my C6, but there is something about the Stingray in Laguna Blue that really really really has my attention. Enough so that im contemplating....and second guessing...and generally confused and in full crisis mode (should i, shouldn't i, etc.)

What do you guys who had and LS3 think of the LT1 in terms of power and performance?

I agree with you because I loved both my C5 & C6. But the biggest difference in the performance from the LT1 versus the LS engines is the LT1 doesn't take as much time to spool up power. The torque comes on much more quickly and noticably. It pulls right away. And to make a point both my former Corvettes ran very well against their peers.

Radio, speakers, electric power steering, interior quality, performance, info system, navigation...I guess just about everything has been improved. And I loved my c6!
