Excellent video. I could feel myself in the drive seat having run RA in my 2009. Could not run nearly the speeds you did because there were a lot more cars on the track and I was in a Touring Class during the Corvette Tribute. It is a thrill to pass cars which I did a lot that day.

Thanks for posting.

Great video and great driving. How did/does the rev matching do? Did you have it turned on or did you heel and toe? I have only run RA once, but loved it. Your vid brought back many fond memories.

Was this the Drive for Babies fundraiser for the March of Dimes Last Friday? Great event for a great cause. I used to be on the planning committee for that one. Did Peter Cunningham make it up to give rides? When I saw him a few weeks ago he wasn't sure if he could make it because of a possible scheduling conflict with an Acura event. Did you go to the dinner and see David Hobbes? He tells great stories.

Chicane may be used instead of running "The Kink" at all DE's, I don't know? Most often the chicane is not used while racing cars I believe. It is used when racing bikes from what I have seen..

It seems to measure pedal travel instead of pressure, so when the brakes are fresh and the pedal doesn't travel far, it looks like you're hardly braking, but when the pedals softens a bit, then you get down to 3-4 bars. Good pick-up.

Yes, it was the Drive for Babies fundraiser. Peter didn't make it this year (my friend took a hot lap ride with him last year and still talks about his braking!), and I did go to the dinner but was so wiped out from the day I left during the talk, but it was interesting.

The rev matching is insanely awesome and I used it exclusively. I heel-toed my S4 around the track, but being able to concentrate on braking and lines without worrying about that is priceless.

I'm told by Adam @ Amp'd that we should have something soon!

thanks for the great video of my favorite track. you did a great job of hitting the apexes on the later laps.

shame about the chicane before the kink. I remember the first time I took the kink without lifting (before they put n the chicane). what a rush.

again, thanks for a great video

OP, thanks for posting. I'll probably never see a track with mine but it was a blast sitting in my chair and riding with you! Felt like I was there. Thanks for making our cars look awesome!!

I think you're absolutely right. I measured 750 degrees on the fronts at Blackhawk Farms on Tuesday and I wasn't even pushing that hard. No long straights to cool the brakes, but still. At least it was lower than my buddy's Volvo S60 R - 850 degrees!

I really wish someone could come up with a good cooling duct solution, and fast!

I see you don't have the rev matching activated. Must be really good at heal toe. Great videos you do a great job pushing your C7 around the track

Great driving. I did my first HPDE school on the 8th and had a ball. Not able to get to the speed you hit but after looking at my video I saw lots of places where I could have picked it up. First time I had used the PDR, in fact I had bought a card for it a few months back and lost it so had to get another one on short notice. Really impressive tool in spite of the video quality.
