Things to consider when putting on the car cover
Hello guys
Is there anything we need to follow / Be aware before we put the car cover (Indoor / outdoor) to your corvette.
For example I heard you should not put the car cover when the car is very dirty (dust) that may cause stretch marks in the paint.
And one other thing is let say you drive it in the rain and after that, park it in your garage and before the car get dry you put the car cover, does it cause any issue?
And how about you put the car cover when the engine is hot.
Appreciate your comments.

I personally don't like covers during driving season because of the risk of grinding dirt and dust into the paint. The only time this does not happen is right after you wash it. If I am storing my car for periods of time like pollen season or winter then I'll wash it, put the cover on and leave it. Just my two cents.

I've heard that you don't cover the exhaust....not sure if that is truly an issue or not.

I don't cover mine during driving season and only occasionally during the winter as I like to at least get it out, warm up the fluids, etc.
But RULE #1 - the car should be CLEAN before you put a cover on it. Otherwise, it doesn't need covered, right? The cover is to protect it from dirt, dust, etc so make sure it is clean before you put on the cover! If it's dirty, don't cover it until it is CLEAN and DRY with a cool motor.
