Default C7 oil pressure

What is considered normal oil pressure for the LT1. Mine seems to move around a lot and is usually less than 40psi going down the road after it is warmed up. Thanks in advance.

Mine is usually about 35 psi when cruising at 75 with a base A6. I think that’s pretty nominal from what I’ve heard from other posters.

When I’ve had it at higher rpms, I’ve been watching the road not the pressure readings. Don

My Z51 runs around 30-35 psi when warm @ 200' running down the road.

35/40 psi - base M7. If the red oil pressure warning annunciation isn't illuminated, don't worry about it.

Just curious. What happens to the oil pressure when you switch to higher viscosity oil for track use?

Higher viscosity = higher pressure for the same volume

I'm curious at what RPM range the new 2 stage regulated oil pump goes to the higher pressure setting.

My car has been at 4B00 for 5 days, and then I'll have the RPM restricted break in.

Does any one care to run a experiment for me? I'll say nice things about you, and tell you, "thanks."

Anything from 36.7 to 47.7 on the gauge is normal when warmed up.
