Spring Mountain Oct 30-31
Any forum members going to Spring Mountain Corvette Training School end of October? If so I'll be there with a couple of buddies from our St Louis Corvette Club.

Spring Mountain was well worth it!
This past weekend at Spring Mountain was all that was advertised and more. Driving Z51s to the very edge truly underscore the incredible capability of my C7. The combination of the traction control, ABS and the limited slip differential work in a harmony that reaches new heights.
Rick Malone and his team run a fantastic school. Take two days and two nights to take advantage of the generous gift from Chevrolet Marketing ($1,000 for 2 days for C7 owners at this driving meca versus $2,500 for anyone else). My wife rode along with the instructors and loved every minute.

Melting Slicks
When I booked, I went with 2 nights: the night before and night between.
I was told the school ends by 4:30 pm, and my flight home is at 9:30 pm.
Breakfast is at 6:30 am and you need to be at the school by 7:45 am each day.

Not too much for the spouses to do out there but spectate or hangout in the clubhouse.
Or, they could drive over to Vegas which is about an hour drive from Pahrump.

My wife and most of the others attended all the classes and rode with the instructors. Rick's program is high energy, informative, and very entertaining. My wife enjoyed this almost as much as me.

First: book the night before as well. They start early. Second: my wife was with me. She attended all the classes. With one exception she was a ride along with the instructor. My wife became very critical of my driving abilities. Lol, even thought I was in the A group. Soooo, take her. The evening dinner at the Winery was an over the top dinner. We ended up with three other couples and had a great time. Go for it,,,

I know it's been said before but, this offer from Chevy is an incredible value. Great facility, fantastic instructors and the track is a blast. Just a superbly run operation.

Totally Awesome Time
We stayed the night before - recommended. Hour drive from Vegas and the police do hide along the way, especially in Pahrump, to catch those speeding. I wish I had done the 3-day class as there was a lot to learn and the 3rd day you can really put it all together. What you'll learn, not speed, is control and handling - also how to sit correctly. Breakfast and lunch was good, lunch better, dinner at the Winery was super. Shoes to wear - running shoes worked good as long as there are fairly smooth on the bottom for the Heel to Toe shifting (those that can't can use Rev-match ). You will have a fun and very educational time with knowledgeable and extremely helpful trainers. GoPro works well in the rear window or on the passenger side of the windshield, mine was in the rear window.
Picture and Video will be posted later (different thread).
