My 2015 Torch Red baby arrived today!
So today was the day. After nearly 11 months of back and forth and a no go on my 14 order I took delivery of the new ride today. I can’t put words around how awesome this car is. It is refined, powerful and exotic looking to start. You can’t help but be mesmerized by the styling. My delivery session was constantly being interrupted by people coming into the dealership telling me how awesome the car looked. When you start the car for the first time it is really an awesome feeling and the sound with the NPP exhaust is fantastic...fully opened in track mode!
It was a great day for me. I took my father who has always dreamed of a new corvette but has never been able to make it happen. As a kid my father and I restored a 1960 corvette and eventually it got sold to Valvoline who gave it away in a cross Canada sweepstakes. That was the start of my fascination with Corvettes. Today my Dada and I recaptured part of that corvette fever. A truly blessed experience.
The other amazing part was passing the corvette fever on to my two little boys. They are 6 and 8 and love cars. They were more excited about today than they are about Halloween tomorrow. I picked each of them up at school (individually - NO Back Seat) and they loved it...a couple of peacocks.
I will keep you up to date on my overall feedback...but after 145kms today I am rightly impressed with this vehicle!

Congrats! I hope to see you on some of the Corvette cruises here in the Toronto area next summer! We just had one up to Webers and Gravenhurst on Saturday and there were 51 Corvettes, but only one C7, so hopefully next year there will be way more C7s!
I love that color combo! It's exactly the combo that I've got a raffle ticket for (the draw is on Saturday!), so if I win that car, we'll own twin cars!

Hard to beat TR on this car. And get ready for the fanfare, I can hardly take it out of the garage without someone commenting on how much they like the new Vette...
