Default Removing seats and carpet hard to do?

I'm in the process of adding sound reduction material. I'm wondering how difficult a job it is to remove the seats and floor carpet from a C7 2LT coupe. (A8 trans and heated/ventilated seats).

Any hints/instructions would be appreciated.

I don't find the car loud at all. It is a sports car.

Yea, I'm with you on this one. I don't even listen to the radio so I can hear (and enjoy) the sound of the car. Perhaps the OP should consider trading for one of these:

Just a thought....

I also like the sound while driving for pleasure (almost always in Sport mode). But this is my daily driver and the road noise while cruising or highway driving can get irritating. Ive got a Blockit kit on order with TKO.

Just did the sound deadening a few nights ago, refer to thetas how to on rear subwoofer assembly, shows how to take all the trunk panels and carpet off, carpet behind seats just lifts off after that.

Tried to find Theta's post but the search engine failed me. Can you provide a link?

Thank you.

Well, C7Jake, how much noise attenuation did you observe?

On smooth roads, I find no need for sound reduction. On coarse aggregate surfaces or chip seal that TX likes to use on some roads, less noise would be nice.

On smooth roads, I usually sit back and enjoy the car w/o the stereo. Also a good idea to be observant with all the fools on the road violating your right of way. Don

Reduced cabin resonance from tires, exhaust. A couple of frequency vibrations disappeared...the stuff works.

Jake, do you have any pictures on how to remove the trim to get the carpet up easy in the cargo area? I remember seeing some posts here but cannot find them. I did the bulkhead and center console very easy, but I just laid down the insulation under my cargo cover in the back. I think a lot of the noise still comes from the wheel wells and i would like to lift the carpet up and get some insulation in that area.

No doubt that C7Jake does meticulous work. His installation in the rear cargo area looks extremely professional.

Once you add long tube headers if you keep dod active on the highway the noise can be less than pleasant. So I'm trying to quiet that aspect down
