Default TPW of 12/1

Can anyone give me some insight as to what I can expect with this TPW date? I.E is this an accurate date for when the vehicle will be finished up in BG?

Thanks!

TPW is Target Production Week - meaning it is anticipated that the car will be finished sometime during that week. A number of members have reported that their cars have been completed the week prior to their TPW.

I can see you spending New Year's Eve without your C7

But you will love it when it finally arrives

Default half the battle

I have a friend who also has a TPW of 12-1, but that is really just a little over half the battle. It's got to go through quality control (some guys have been held up weeks), getting loaded and shipped, delivered to the dealer, made ready, and THEN to you. Dependent on where you live relative to BG your car could be shipped by rail, which according to many posts here is quite a process (pray for truck).
Good luck, keep up with things on the website, and remember, no matter how long it takes, it WILL be worth it.

I'm in South Florida, is that typically rail delivery or truck?

All the deliveries to Florida must go by truck. You are really fortunate, because it seems that Fl. deliveries happen over night . Like magic

I'm in Delray Beach, and have a TPW of 12/1 also. Where are you located and where are you picking the car up?

The prior week is Thanksgiving, I hope that they do a good job and not rush it during the short week

Highly unlikely. Rail to Calif. Looooong delivery time.

I'm 12/1 also and was curious how long delivery would take once produced.

Unless things have changed there are no cars shipped from the back lot during the end of the year shut down, however with a 12/1 tpw your car should make it out the gate before the plant goes dark.

Congrats to all with a 12/1 tpw. My Z should be built around that date as well

My dealer just confirmed my tpw @12/1 as well. Any chance I'll get the car before 1/15? (San Jose , CA) Will Xmas cause additional delay?

TPW is a production planning estimate, but should be pretty close unless something happens at the plant. My TPW was 2/17 and my car was built 2/19.

I feel your pain my friend. Just had to surrender my painted roof for a transparent roof to get my 2015 Z51 coupe at all. Dealer says I will now get a TPW assigned this week and my event code of 1100 [sigh] will move quickly. Been 1100 since June. [bigger sigh]
