Congrats on your order! I ordered mine also on 11/4. Placed order with Rick at Coughlin. It is great you moved to 2000 so quickly! I am still sitting at 1100 and have been told that GM is not handing out allocations for the next couple weeks??? (Due to Z06 allocations and upcoming plant shutdowns) Which I don't understand????...since I have seen other dealers openly saying they have allocations available...and your order has obviously moved forward.

I have an email into Rick to find out what's happening. I know I am probably overreacting. I'll report back once I hear from Rick.

Thanks for listening.

Congratulations on your order. I ordered mine up in RI on 09/25, it was built on 10/27 and delivered on 11/04 so don't be surprise if your car arrives earlier than they predicted unless you live on the west coast. Apparently the whole truck to train to truck takes weeks to deliver. Here is what I ordered.

Good move OP!!!
Thanks. Had there been something I really desired on the 2LT or 3LT, I would've considered, but IMHO the bang for the buck isn't there. Now I wanted NPP, the Z51 spoiler, and the Z51 gear (2.73), so I went that direction, and at the end of the day the Z51 really has good bang for the buck.

Congratulations
I have my order in with Joe as well, hoping to get the car before Xmas.
We will have to compare notes on how they treat us in the delivery process.
Cheers

Does the dealer have to wait for an allocation, or can they submit an order to GM? I made a deposit weeks ago, but dealer states they are waiting for allocation...True or False?

OK, I thought I didn't like stripes at all but that looks great.
And what colour is that? It doesn't look anything like NRB to me.

I agree with most of your options aside from the PDR/Nav. I would bypass that choice and get the Magnetic Ride Suspension instead. I use that way more than I would Nav or PDR. Either way you'll have a car to be enjoyed!

I will put down my 2013 Mustang GT, along with $9,000 more dollars when delivered.

But upfront it's only $1,000.

OLD_GOAT, your moniker has me curious. If not too personal, how old are you?

I just turned 104. I really look good for my age.

All kidding aside, I just turned 60 in September.

I've used this handle since I first got my brand new 2005 GTO (I was one of the older members and drove a 'goat') and have used it on several (GTO forum, 2 G8 forums, this forum, and 3 Mustang forums, plus LS1TECH, and Camaro5) different forums.

60 is young. Best of luck with your new Vette.

Per the order tracker, as of today, I'm at 'Queued For Production'. Joe will send me an email tomorrow and let me know what order status code I'm at. My uneducated guess would place it at 3000-Accepted by Production.

Moving right along.

Here is what I ordered.....

2015 Shark Gray 3LT Coupe
8 speed auto
ZF1 Appearance package
NPP Exhaust
Carbon Fiber dash
Carbon Flash badges
Transparent roof

And here is my timeline so far......

- Tuesday, Nov. 11 - sent order package & check to dealer 2-day air

- Thursday, Nov. 13 - dealer receives package and check

- Monday, Nov. 17 - deposit check clears my bank

- Tuesday, Nov. 18 - dealer creates work bench (1100) and requests final approval (no changes after this as going directly to 2000)

- Wednesday, Nov. 19am - Chevy tracking shows order accepted by Chevy and Queued for Production.....check with Customer Service and they say I'm at 2500.

So moving nicely, but nothing I ordered is constrained and my dealer must of had plenty of allocation.

At 3300, they should be able to give you a Targeted Production Week. I got mine on Monday from the Customer Service sticky at top......my TPW is 12/15.
