Thanks, looking a little deeper into the sheet, it appears we both are at 12/15/14. I only looked for the status.

Thanks.

Interesting re: 1LT vs. 2LT vs. 3LT - having attended the Spring Mountain /Ron Fellows Corvette owners school, the cars I drove there were primarily 3LT's with only a couple of 2LT's in the group of cars we drove. I didn't ask why they were ordered like that, but suspect they are easier to resell. There would be no reason for the additional options just to put the cars on the track.

Congrats guys and believe me you'll be happy with the 1LT. BTW I've never ever bought any car worring about trade in...no more than getting married and thinking about divorcing her !

I just got offline with Chevy Chat and they stated that the TPW is just that, a 'target', then she informed me that it takes 6-8 weeks for delivery. So I guess that the holiday delivery is out of the question. Looking for a Super Bowl delivery by now.

Oh well........it is what it is, and soon enough she will be safely asleep in the garage.

Thanks Mike (I'm a Campbell also) and I'm not concerned about the 1,2,or 3 LT. Like you, I'm not concerned with the resale value. I just looked and saw if I would feel like I'm getting the bang for the buck for something I need.

This LT2 feature did catch my eye, and I'm thinking about buying this (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...or-to-1lt.html) and having the dealership install it when taking delivery. Outside of this feature, there is nothing I really felt I needed for the extra $4,000. The HUD is cool, but not needed. I will use the PD and VR in lieu of that.

I'll update this as I go along. At this time I'm only communicating with Joe (my salesman) every Thursday.

DATE...........STATUS.......COMMENTS

11/4/14........DEPOSIT......ORDERED CAR
11/5/14........1100............PRELIMINARY ORDER ACCEPTED
11/14/14.......2000...........ACCEPTED BY GM
11/20/14.......3000...........ACCEPTED BY PRODUCTION CONTROL
11/26/14.......3300...........SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION
11/26/14.......3300...........ISSUED TPW FOR 12/15/14

At this point I would like to thank Zymurgy who informed me that I cleared any constraint issues when I went to 2000. GM won't accept the order (2000 status) unless it met any constraint issues. This made me feel a lot more positive that the building of the car is good to go. I didn't know this and was concerned since the constraint on the Z51 has been running around 50%.

I verified this the other day with doing chat on the Chevrolet.com site. The chat went good except for one part. She told me that it takes 6-8 weeks for delivery, which really bummed me out. I do live in the Houston area, so it's not like I live in the boondocks.

Do you know if it will be on a train? I hope for your sake it isn't.
