Car storage question
I searched and didn't see the answer to my question- so if it's out there sorry for the duplicate post.
I'm storing my C7 and don't have access to an outlet so I will be removing the battery during the winter-
Can you open the doors or hatch without the battery? I don't want to leave the doors cracked open due to mice. Is there an outside release to open up the car when it doesn't have the battery connected?

Another good reason to put extra air in the tires is just in case you have a slow leak. If you were to lose 10 pounds of air over the storage period and you started out at 30psi, you'd be in a lot worse shape than if you started out the storage period with 40psi. Just don't forget to take the extra air out in the spring, especially since that pressure will climb even higher as the temperature warm up (I believe you gain 1psi for every 10F rise in temp)

I put mine in storage today. I looked at removing the battery and gasped! I can pull my C3 battery in 3 minutes to store it....it's in the background under the tan cover.
The C7 is a nightmare. I got lucky and the barn I keep the two in has an outlet close by. I hooked up my Ctek and Ran the cord out of the zippered "car bag" I'm using.
Drive the car over the opened bag.
Install a cover.
Zip it up!
