Default Yet another battery tender question ?

OK, I know everyone's sick of this topic, so I apologize.
When I plug in the battery tender (Schumacher 1.5 amp.) after driving my C-7, it takes about 60 to 70 minutes before going into "float" mode. Is this about normal ? The reason I ask is that other cars I've owned only took 10-20 minutes. Appreciate your input.

I would say that is normal. Using a Deltran Battery Tender Plus it takes at least that long most times longer.

I have a "Peak" unit that does the same thing, but has kept my Corvette batteries happy through 4 winters now.
