IV. GM Family Legacy Program (FLP)

A. Eligible Participants

Children of deceased surviving
spouses who were receiving benefits
of GM pension.

Children of deceased GM retirees
without surviving spouses.

B. Sponsored Purchasers
Eligible Participants are able to sponsor
their spouse or same-sex domestic
partner (SSDP), where applicable, and
dependent children and stepchildren,
provided the children are either under
21 years of age or full-time students
under 25 years of age on the date of
purchase. (Note: Eligible SSDPs are
treated the same as spouses and,
therefore, their dependent children
and stepchildren are also included.)

Individuals who are employed by a
government organization may not be
sponsored as purchaser/lessee due to
relevant government rules. Consult GM
Policy: PCC-06 SALE, DONATION OR
COURTESY LOAN OF VEHICLES TO
GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS/ENTITIES.

That works for me. Thanks. Do you whether or not people who are authorized to participate in this program get the same benefits as a GM retiree?

Does your deceased GM retiree parent have a surviving spouse? If so, that spouse can get you the Employee pricing. Also, the deceased GM retiree (or deceased surviving spouse) had to be receiving pension payments at time of death.

I called. There was an answering machine that said to leave your info and they would call back. No word from them in the past 24 hours, but maybe they are taking the week off for Thanksgiving.

If you think you are eligible, you ought to call too. Good for any GM vehicle.

my wife's father is deceased GM worker with pension at the time. What kind of evidence is required?

We don't have much in the way of evidence anymore, not sure we can even dig up his SS number

Call them at the number above. you need to give his full name, probably his SSAN, and then you will need to fax them info about his child, such as a birth certificate that shows him as the father, and a current drivers license. When you call them, they will explain this to you. And if you can't put your hands on his SSAN easily, don't give up. There are other ways.

Enjoy the pricing. It's what I did for my C7. Here's a link to calculate what savings you get with employee discount on any GM vehicle, including the Corvette. BTW, no hard feelings from the Nav red X thread.

EDIT: I do not work for GM but know someone who does.
