OK... lots of discussion about the MT article where Probst had a "high oil temp warning" on lap 4. However, I don't think it specified which oil. If it was the trans temp, then that's a known issue which should be easy to fix with an aftermarket solution. If it's engine oil temp, then that'd be a bigger issue to me. It's possible the MN7 car can be flogged as delivered w/o issue. All the pics and stuff seem to be done in the yellow MN7 car, but this video shows Probst using the auto white car for his hot laps. It makes no mention of him driving the yellow one, or getting that one hot.

The video above clearly shows him in the A8 toward the end.

Also imagine if the car was a black car in the summer time. Tests have shown surface temp on a black car vs white car in summer sun is 40+ degrees difference. Another reason to avoid getting a black car...

The MT article shows pics of him driving both cars. States they had to drive the yellow car to do their instrumented testing i.e. 0-60, 1/4 mile, skid pad, etc. They use the white auto for the lap times. The article says a high oil temp, but doesn't say which oil it is. I'm assuming it was the trans at this point.

True... hope that's not the case. All the ducting and venting and laid forward cooling package and cooling issues are the last thing this car should have.

Remember, these tests are run weeks or months before they are published and based on all of them hitting today they were embargoed
