Did you try Stingray Chevrolet? Plant City. Forum sponsor.

I went to my local dealer and told them I'd buy from them if I could get the CU discount. They said they normally couldn't take it, but would ask the owner. In the meantime, I also started emailing dealers on an increasing radius from my home. It's easy to do with the Chevy dealer locator. After a couple of days my local dealer came through.

Are you looking for in stock or order? Call Jon Hall in Daytona. I counted 10 on their lot 2 days ago and they accept the programs on all their other cars. They were not accepting them last spring on C7's so I went with Les Stanford and took museum delivery. Absolutely painless transaction with Dennis Tap.

CU discount
*** in Bradenton does Credit Union discount. Bought my '15 Z51 there in October. Also, Estero Bay Chevy near Fort Meyers told me they would do CU discount.
If you try ***, ask for Ron Potts. He was my salesman and he is a car guy. Dealership is family owned and run and they seem to care.

When I was ordering mine in Charlotte I got some background in this. The about-to-retire guy was training the soon to take over the ordering-all-the-cars guy. If it's an inexperienced person ordering the showroom cars they sometimes order too many of what they like instead of a variety of cars that would bring in a variety of buyers. The showroom of the dealer I ordered from had one yellow, one black, one red, one green, and four dark grey.

CU discount
At Gainesville Chevrolet I got a discount to belonging to USAA. Guess thats the same because they do have a CU.

Because they know their market and which cars will move and which will sit on the lot looking for that "special" customer. The transparent rook is due to constraints but my guess is they have a pretty good idea that under $60K Corvettes move a lot faster than over $70K in their market.

Note: they had Florida's largest Vette Allocation in 2014. They indicated to me that they received a 2015 allocation of Z06 of over 50. So... their base and Z51 volume & allocations will be BIG!
