Default Weather on Nav Screen

If I do not renew my satellite radio, do I lose the weather display on my center screen?

My understanding is that the info is delivered via XM radio. So you would be SOL.

Yes. You will also lose the gas station gas prices and movie listings. You need the SiriusXM Travel Link service.

Is the traffic part of this as well? I know on my Cadillac I was able to get the traffic and not have it bundled with other features. I assume this is an all or none situation now.

No, you can get Traffic separately. You can even get these services without the "radio" service:

I have used the weather feature a few times but was not that impressed with the resolution. I have an app on my phone that works much better. I am not even sure I will renew my XM service when I put my car back on the road in the spring.

I've had my radio flashed twice with upgrades and I pay extra for the Travel Link in my 2nd year of All Access. But it's not working. Can you provide screen shots of your Nav screen and what you do to get it?
Thanks

I have to agree the radar weather depiction could be better. However having to look down at the iphone and scroll through the apps is unsafe. The car's presentation is ok for just knowing where the weather is.

gotcha I wasn't exactly sure how that got the data to display.

Since we're on this subject, how does the 4G LTE hot spot get billed? Onstar has nothing on file from me for payment. I connected to it once the other day just to see if it worked. Went to one web page, loaded it up, and turned it off. I figured it would have re-directed me to a screen asking if I'd like to proceed (e.g. a gateway). Am I going to get a bill now from Onstar for this?

Was this done online, or via telephone call from the car ?

I just look at the sky.................if there was a risk of anything severe I wouldn't be in the Corvette anyway.
