Default Sorry for the dupe--does the C7 have a CD player for music?

Sorry for the dupe but I still have lots of new cd's and have plenty of burned CD's and would like to play them in a C7 someday. Does the C7 come with a CD player . I know it is old technology but we still have movie DVD's that are the same size as a music Cd. Thanks Dave

Ditch the disks, Flash drive is easier to store. Just copy your music files over on your computer.
CD = 700 MB
So a single 64 GB flash drive (19.99 at stores) is > 50 CD's of music

We have a 32GB SD card in the console. It has over 4500 MP3 files on it, and is still less than 3/4 full. The files were all ripped between 192 and 320 bps, and in the noisy car environment, it is almost impossible to tell any sound difference between a CD and the MP3s.

Wow good question - I didn't even think about that. Not that it would have kept me from ordering. I usually get books on CD from the library for the 8 hour drive to Florida from Charlotte. I guess I'll have to find some more interesting XM channels. TPW 12/22. My 2004 truck has a cassette player along with the CD player. Times are changing.

It bothered me at first that the C7 does not have a CD player, but I learned out to rip my CDs and put them on a USB drive. The USB is easier to use than having to carry a handful of CDs back and forth to the car.

Does Bluetooth streaming of an iTunes library show album artwork on the head unit?

No. Artwork only appears when I connect iPhone via USB.

there is a downside...it takes a lot of time to load your cds onto another medium. Also, cds give you the artist info as well as who is in the band etc...as a musician I need to know who the sax player is, or the drummer, etc I guess if you are not into this trivia it doesn't matter.

So nice not to have all those jewel cases rattling around the car.

It's all a trade-off..... if I had 50 to 100 CDs in the car and wanted to find a song, i'd rifling through a lot of stuff and trying to drive, practcally impossible.......whereas when using digital storage, I can just use artist or song find , so access is a lot better.

I often see the "visor 10 cd storage" in cars and chuckle....

There is a 3mm plug-in for portable CD players and other devices under the console lid if you want to use that for books on CD.

We went from this HELL of Rewind/FFW... tape everywhere:

to lugging around this:

and this tracks skipping because of this:

to THIS Heavenly Angel:

and like other have indicated U can easily put over 10k songs on this one. Create playlists, or basic folders.. even delete the ****** songs U might not want on a Album

Hell.. I can.. if I hear a song while I'm out and about.. plug this into my laptop and download a new song right onto it in less than 15 seconds.
